1) As you go down group 1 the first ionisation
energy decreases, suggest a reason for this?
2) As you go across the period 3 from Aluminium
to Argon, overall there is an increase in ionisation energy,
however there is a decrease between phosphorous and sulpur
which is in the middle of this sequence, explain why?
